Boustead Holdings Berhad (Boustead), one of Malaysia´s oldest diversified conglomerates, was founded in 1828 and over the last 178 years, it has grown to comprise more than 80 listed and non-listed subsidiaries and associate companies and has substantial interests in various sectors of the Malaysian economy.
Listed on Bursa Malaysia in 1961, Boustead is a leading Government-linked company (GLC) in which Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentara (LTAT) is the majority shareholder.
The Group's combined paid-up capital as at December 31, 2007 is RM314 million while the Group's shareholders' funds stand at RM2.4 billion. It has total assets in excess of RM8.4 billion and more than 11,000 employees.
The Group's business interests are focused in six key divisions namely, Plantation, Property, Finance & Investment, Trading, Manufacturing & Services and Heavy Industries.
